Business Resources for the COVID-19 Era

The coronavirus pandemic has affected many areas of business, many employers are trying to solve questions around return to the office, safety of transit, and more. Below we’ve collected information and resources to help answer some of these questions and provide you with your business transportation needs.

Business Research

Choose Your Way Bellevue Business Services is seeking business/employer representatives to participate in an In-Depth Interviewing project anticipated to launch in October 2021. Eligible participants selected for the study will be paid a $125 stipend for an individual, remote interviewing session with CYWB staff of approximately 45-60 minutes in duration. To be eligible, the individual must represent a worksite with five or more employees located within the Bellevue city limits, and must be in a role that can impact the commute choices of employees (such as employee transportation coordinator or program manager; human resources; facilities, etc.). This qualitative research project seeks to identify motivators and barriers to providing commute mode benefits for employees. Following the interviewing session, the representative will be invited to remain for an optional consultation session for up to 30 minutes to receive help with their commute program. The city is currently gathering a roster of interested individuals for further follow-up to assess their fit for the research. To be listed on the roster, please email kmjohnson@bellevuewa.gov with your name, title, business name and address, and a short statement describing your reason for interest in the project.

Downtown Workplace Parking & Commute Management Pilot

Choose Your Way Bellevue Business Services is planning a pilot project to test daily commute parking when employees who have been teleworking return to the office for at least some days of the week.

The project will be a no-cost, low-administration opportunity for downtown employers to allow their employees to test daily parking pricing at downtown locations.  There is also an opportunity for a property manager to set up a pilot at their building. Interested employers and property managers can learn more by clicking here. You can also sign up here to be on a list to receive more information as the project gets closer.
